A popular high school athlete makes a bet that he can transform an unpopular, artistic student into the prom queen before graduation. As he gets to know her beyond the makeover, he begins to realize that his original intentions were shallow, and genuine feelings develop that challenge both of their perceptions of popularity, identity, and self-worth.
