Paul Levesque began bodybuilding at the age of 14 to look like his wrestling idols. He entered and won several competitions, including the 1988 Teenage Mr. New Hampshire at the age of 19. Inspired by Ric Flair and other wrestling legends, he pursued professional wrestling and trained at Killer Kowalski’s wrestling school.
